Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Bennett.
Jonathan, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I grew up dreaming a lot and thinking life was really just a series of circumstances. But slowly as I got older, I started seeing how my story wasn’t random. It was all connected and it meant something. Along the way, I was blessed and got some great opportunities working hard, meeting people, and shaping my passion as a filmmaker. I graduated high school, then film school, went into employment, then self-employment, then freelance, and now a business owner.
Now watching as the dots connect in my own story, my goal is to help others see the beauty, uniqueness, and awesomeness in their own story. — To do this, I try and use every opportunity I have! In-person, on a shoot, in our community, and as a business. Through my business, my team and I are thankful we have the opportunity to connect with great people and bring their stories to life through film. When it comes to life, business, the marketplace, etc… It’s all made up of people and their stories. Don’t you think it’s time to start sharing these stories!?
Please tell us about your art.
It’s not just my art, it’s our art! – It’s the team and people that I get to work with. It’s you who react to it and share it.
What: — Short Films, commercials, branded content.
How: — With some of the most skilled & passionate people on the planet!
Why: — Because Personal Stories Change Lives!
The Message: Everyone on this planet matters and everyone has a story. Let’s share those stories, connect, and help each other become better versions of ourselves.
In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
In my experience, I have found, when artists have a solid foundation in who they are and why then they can thrive! Without a solid foundation, it’s as if you’re building a house on sand.
