Art & Life with Jamison Harris, Jonta’ Harris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamison Harris, Jonta’ Harris.

Jamison, Jonta’, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
We are identical twin brothers born and raised in Asheboro, North Carolina. Growing up we were inseparable. Not only were we inseparable but we were a very active set of twins. From talent shows to sports we did it all together but ever since we can remember we have always had a true passion for the arts which has helped us to express ourselves. In high school, we participated in theatre plays & musicals. We enjoyed every minute of expressing ourselves through the form of art. The inseparability soon came to an end when we went off to two different colleges. Being apart was difficult yet rewarding as we were able to gain our own sense of individuality.

After college, we reconnected again becoming “Wombmates”. While now working our full-time jobs and living together we noticed we still had that drive for entertainment and the arts. At this time, social media was a “thing”. We’ve always been very active on social media. Posting our twinning photos with our amazing sense of style gained us a lot of attention which helped in jumpstarting our careers as twinfluencers. In 2016 we explored the world of YouTube and premiered our first series “It Takes Two” where we talked real-life issues with a twinning twist. A year later we launched our website – a fashion and lifestyle blog.
In 2017 we started working with our first marketing client where we created content with brands like Red Bull, Live Nation, and Bud light. Over the span of a year, we continued working hard which later led to us working with clients such as LIDS, Happy Socks, Vaynermedia, Blackwood for Men, Captain Morgan, and even the Twinning Store.

Today as not only brothers and best friends but now business partners, we are on an entrepreneurial journey to become full-time digital media influencers.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
We, Official HarrisTwins (OHT), are published identical twin digital influencers that focus on artistic production, digital strategy, content creation, and fashion in media. We enjoy partnering with businesses and brands to curate substantial content to our audience via our social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. We help promote companies’ products or services to boost social media presence and reach consumers which can have an effect on companies’ earnings. We have so much love and appreciation for this industry because it allows us to tell our story that others can relate to, build our personal brand, and connect with our audience while producing visually appealing content.

The message behind what we do is covey to our audience that it’s okay to be your authentic self, to use your platform as a voice for the things you believe in, raise awareness, and to share your story. As influencers, we hope people take away the importance of investing time into yourself and that your story is significant to those around you. Our artwork showcases the conjunctionally of two individuals with similar yet different perspectives on life reaching a common goal to influence and inspire.

As an artist, how do you define success and what quality or characteristic do you feel is essential to success as an artist?
As artists we define our success by understanding that it’s not a sprint, but a marathon. Success to us means enjoying the process throughout our journey, and preparing ourselves for the commitment that our dreams are tied to our life’s purpose. To us, one quality an artist should exude is self-awareness. It’s so important that we self-reflect by knowing who we are fully. Once we are self-aware we can then lean on our strengths and use our weaknesses as continuing growing factors. Throughout our journey we’ve learned that self-awareness doesn’t stop us from making mistakes, it allows us to learn from them.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
So our work can be found mostly on all our social media platforms:
and website at

When it comes to supporting our work it’s simple; engaging with us on our social media platforms through comments, direct messaging, Insta stories, and live feeds. We love connecting with our audience through conversations and producing valuable content that they can relate to. By being a part of our community and telling your friends about the things we share, we know we’ll be able to inspire & make a difference one person at a time.
