When I come across obstacles or challenges that I deem insurmountable, I tell myself to take myself out of the equation. Sometimes, just thinking about a particular situation can be overwhelming and I find if I remove myself and try to look at the bigger picture, I can usually find the right answer. Plus, the challenging times in your life usually end up being the moments we learn the most from.

Nastasia Yukon | Model and Social Media Influencer

I think any problem is surmountable. If at this right moment you don’t see a solution, the best what you can do is to focus on other aspects of your life. Come back to it later and you will see new better ways to solve the old problem if it is still important.

Riannah Marie | Voice Actor, Producer, & Travel Influencer

When I face challenging circumstances, I remind myself that what I’m facing is temporary not permanent; that what I’m going through does have a definite end. When a situation seems impossible to overcome, I mentally decide to take authority over it and verbally speak out loud and tell the situation what needs to change. I then declare victory over it BEFORE it even happens. I’m a firm believer in the power of words and declarations and if my faith has taught me anything, you need to speak to those mountains in your life if you ever want to see them move.

Never lose hope, there is always sunshine after heavy rain.

Elizabeth Villalobos | Professional Dancer and Fashion / Lifestyle Blogger

My advice is to remind yourself that personal growth often comes from challenging experiences. When a challenge is presented, it’s natural to feel scared or unmotivated but don’t let these emotions discourage you. Begin by breaking up the challenge into smaller sections and allocate the appropriate time from your schedule where you can give it your full attention. This process might seem intimidating at first, but you will soon find yourself able to overcome challenges that you never thought were possible. Just remember, whatever you do in life, make sure you do it con ganas.

Never. Give. Up. And I mean it. The best advice is to forget about your “plan B” and figure out different ways to make PLAN A work better. In this short life, if you set your mind and your goals and allow them to align, you can accomplish anything. Just remember, you’re RESILIENT.

I am going through a crazy semester and what keeps me sane is telling myself that I should never let my obstacle win, I am stronger than that obstacle or if the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal. Another thing I live by is: Be that person you looked up to when you were younger.

Break up the big picture into smaller pieces. Micro wins will turn into a macro accomplishment.

The best advice I can give you if you’re facing a challenge that you feel is insurmountable is to first identify the parts you are struggling with. Once you have identified what’s holding you back, you can better focus on those parts. Then, set realistic goals that will eventually lead to overcoming the challenge. Finally, make a plan that involves a day-by-day agenda outlining what you will do to overcome the challenge.

My advice for someone who is facing adversities is.. write the word THANKFUL, stare at it and watch it improve your mood. Remember there is always something to be grateful for..

Anie Delgado | Recording Artist & Actress

Always have perspective. Just because you’re facing a roadblock doesn’t mean it’ll always be there. Sometimes when I’m at a low, I sit and reflect and I think about where I am and feel grateful for it. These low points help you learn how to take your situation and figure out what the next step is. It’s easy to feel stuck when you’re trying to achieve your dreams, but it’s important to remember to get to the next milestone, there are a million baby steps you have to take. Being creative with your approach is key to getting there. Just because one thing didn’t work doesn’t mean another thing won’t. If you’re being true to yourself and genuine, eventually the right door will open.

Alice Ko | Actor/Singer

My advice to someone who is facing a challenge they feel is insurmountable is to look deep within. We pay so much attention to outside noises that we let those drown out our own voice. We are innately wise. If we look inward we will find that voice of strength. We are stronger than we think.

Amanda Garcia | Professional Dancer & Entrepreneur: Eyelash Extension Specialist

The best advice I can give someone facing a challenge that feels insurmountable is to take a step back, breathe, rethink your perspective and confront the challenge with clarity and confidence. We all face obstacles that seem like we can’t overcome them, but if we take a step back and recognize just how far we’ve come already we can understand that anything is possible with a little positive thinking and focus. Another tip is to fully understand your mindset, and think if it’s helping or hindering you (meditation is great for this)! Never give up!!!

Melanie Manooki | Actress, Producer, and Photographer

With every challenge comes 10 more, if we are truly honest with ourselves. This one monumentous challenge is just one step closer to where you want to be. Own the challenge and make it your own. Be thankful for it. Be thankful you have the chance to grow and be better. Don’t let the challenge weigh you down or take control of you. You are in charge. You are strong. You take control.

Brianna Seaberg | Filmmaker and Influencer

My best advice would be to never give up. No matter how impossible it seems to overcome a challenge, you can do it if you use the phrase “mind over matter.”

Sharon Hernandez | Dancer and Influencer

My advice would be to believe in yourself and keep pushing every day to achieve the insurmountable, but really push yourself you have to go all in or nothing to make your dreams come true! After all, they are YOUR dreams. Next time you find yourself speaking about the very own things that set your soul on fire and how you want to pursue them, believe and trust that you’re going to make it there one step at a time. Pay attention to those words, one step at a time, the worse thing you can do is get too ahead of yourself comparing your abilities to others who are on their own path not looking right or left but just straight forward to their goals which is the same thing you need to do, FOCUS. Reading or watching inspiring journeys of others who came from nothing and have made it to everything are really helpful and motivational. Just to know that someone out there had a dream just like the one you have, and actually did the impossible to pursue it, should be one of your biggest motives. My most important advice would be staying on your own path/lane, we are all unique and you really are one in a million. Use that to your advantage make it known to the world that you’re here as your own beautiful self and you’re not going to ever dim your light for ANYONE.  Lastly please always remember that there is room for everyone in SUCCESS. Some just want it more than others, nothing more.

Sophia Walcott | Artist

I’ve found that when I am in a really tough situation that’s seems never ending with all this negativity hanging over me, I just try to not let it bother me that much as I’ve found the best things that have happened in my life have happened after a huge ordeal and that I try not to regret anything even in the moment as it all leads to something better and you need those shit situation to appreciate the good days. Everything is a journey so it’s easy to just take it as it comes rather then to be unhappy.

When I am faced with a challenge that feels insurmountable, I break it down into small,  specific steps. For example, if I have an event coming up and I want to look and feel my best, I’ll set workout and meal goals ahead of time. I find that if I’m specific, like “hike at 8am for 1 hour”, versus “workout sometime tomorrow”, I am way more likely to stay committed. And most importantly, when you do those small things you told yourself you were going to do, be excited! You just took a step towards conquering that challenge, and THAT is something you should be proud of.

Bea Cabrera | Content Creator & Fashion Enthusiast (The Petticoat Lifestyle)

We all know that life is like a roller coaster, so you can either scream every time there is a bump or you can throw your hands up and enjoy the ride. Keep the faith, the most awesome things doesn’t happen overnight. Have a strong goals and take your obstacles and failure as a motivation to do better. Chin up and don’t let your crown slips! Remember, just when the caterpillar thought the world was over it became a butterfly.

Raquel “Rocky” Walder | Actor, Creator, + Creative Director

When facing battles that seem impossible, I attempt to find the light in some aspect of my daily life or the world around me. As cheesy as it may be, finding moments of positivity everyday has helped me battle insurmountable challenges.

Gia Zhao | Fitness trainer & Designer

I’d like to tell those people who feel suffered or being in trouble to stay positive to the coming days. Because life is supposed to be a tragedy, but still positive and strong to the ultimate goal could actually help you to be the better version of yourself. Conquering difficulties and achieve the insurmountable challenges would build up your resilience and lead you to a life-changing direction.
