Los Angeles is an incredible city filled with so much talent – from celebrity makeup artists to groundbreaking entrepreneurs.  We’ve been working hard to scope out the most exciting stories – the who, what, when, where, why behind some of LA’s hardest working, most creative and unique professionals.

1. Ricardo Ferrise


Ricardo moved from Milwaukee to LA – faced a ton of setbacks including getting almost beat to death in a gay bashing incident in West Hollywood.  He hasn’t let anything stop him and today he’s the go-to makeup artist for Katy Perry!  Read more

2. Nika Geneva


Nika moved from Bulgaria to LA to pursue her dreams.  She hails from a family of artists and her work ethic and ambition have helped her build a powerful name for herself within the LA market.  Read more

3. Natalie Susi

Natalie Susi

Natalie Susi was a teacher who was laid off and turned lemons into lemonade (well Italian Ice, but close enough).  She built a company, sold it and lives to tell it all here.

4. Dave Licht

Dave was a successful attorney when he decided to leave it all and start one of Culver City’s most successful restaurants: Kay ‘n Daves.  Read more

5.  Cathy Wallace


Cathy drove across the country from Quebec, Canada to Los Angeles 3 and a half years ago to follow her dream of attending Cinema Makeup School.  Since then she’s been one of LA’s fastest rising mobile makeup artists.  Read more
